2010 Surrey Double Trap Championship

Like buses, Steve Cole waits years for a Championship win, then two come along together. Not content with winning the Surrey Helice Championship, as reported last month, Steve managed to extend his purple patch into the Double Trap Championships held at the NCSC, Bisley on 6 June. His 91 held off a brace of hard-charging Coffeys; Sam’s 89 was nonetheless good enough for overall runner-up and the Junior title ahead of dad James’s 87. Ron Forrester rounded out the Surrey podium with the Veteran’s title.
