2009 Surry Automatic Ball Trap Championship NCSC Bisley 31st May 2009 A hot sunny, but windy, day greeted our 10 Surrey shooters at te NCSC, Bisley, for this years's Automatic ball trap Competition. We were treated to exceptional shooting by Great Britain and Surrey top shot Bradley Davis who shots an excellent 75 straight, but in his final round missed a hard left target to finish on a brilliant 99 to take years County championship title. The runner up position was keenly fought out between last year's county champion Mike Davis, Great britain and Commonwealth Gold Medallist, Rachel Parish, and top Surrey junior Jack Tucker. With the scores at 71, 70 and 69 respectively after three rounds the pressure was on for the final round. Jack Tucker scored an excellent 25 straight to finish on 94 and take the Junior title which was one shot behind Mike Davis who finished on 95. Rachel Parish shot a steady 22 to finish on 92 and take the Ladies title. The Veterans title was a close fought contest between Roy Forester and Douglas Millard with Roy winning a score of 80. Thank you to Barry Desborough for putting together this year's event and to all the referees. Congratulation to Bradley Davis who will be presented with the trophy at next year's AGM.
