2010 Surrey Double Rise Championship Northall Clay Pigeon Club Saturday 20th November
Report by Guy Peacock
Just seven Surrey County members turned up to shoot the Double Rise at Northall on a cold, misty and damp morning and out of these, six were committee members! To add to this, four of these were Sporting Shooters. Come on you Trap Shooters where were you !
Junior Jack Tucker was by far the most accomplished at the discipline and came home a comfortable winner on a score of 71 (36 + 35) to take both the Senior and Junior County Titles. His only real challenge came from our County Chairman Adrian Berry with a creditable 64 (34 + 30). If I am correct this is the third time in four years that Jack has taken the Junior prize at this event. Well done.
The committee would like to thank Dan Kerwood and the staff at Northall for hosting this event .
