 2009 Surrey Grand Prix

Northall Clay Pigeon Club Saturday 14th March 2009

Following the success of last years Surrey & Sussex Clubman at Wattlehurst Farm, Kingsfold, the friendship between the two counties continued with this years Grand Prix being held at Northall Clay Pidgeon Club.

Fifteen Surrey shooters made their way to Fletching, East Sussex and were not disappointed by the varied layouts. As promised by Dan Kerwood there were targets for all levels of shooters. However our top shots still had to maintain their concentration with Bob Clarke battling for the High Gun and Adrian Berry chasing his tail. The High Gun title was secured by Bob Clarke on the difficult stand 10 scoring a brilliant 9 out of 10 and an overall total score of 93, Adrian Berry came second with an excellent 90.

Our top Lady on the day was Jan Hughes with 73 and the junior title went to Jack Tucker with 74.

Thanks to Dan Kerwood and his team for an excellent days shooting and especially Jan Kerwood and Hannah Gibson who booked in the entries and collated the score cards.

We would also like to give a special thank you to the Northall catering crew for the excellent full English breakfasts which were quickly polished off and enjoyed by everyone.

We look forward to being able to repeat the event next year.

Northall Ground Owner Dan Kerwood & Surrey CPSA Chairman Adrian Berry

Surrey CPSA Chaiman Adrian Berry thanks Dan Kewood of Northall CPC.
