2008 Surrey Sportrap Championship Southdown SGC Sunday 27th March 2008 What can I say? Once again a very disappointing turn out from the Surrey Shooters at Southdown for the 2008 Sportrap Championship with only four shooter apart from myself and one other committee member making the journey to Southdown. The weather was cloudy but dry until noon then it rained for a little more than an hour. Dave Peckham and his team had worked very hard to put on a very good 100 bird shoot over four layouts. Danny Smith shot 84x100 to become the 2008 Surrey Sportrap Champion. Doug Millard won the Veterans title. Unfotunately there were no Lady, Junior or Colt entrants.
