2008 South East Region Intercounties Helice (ZZ) Championship

CPSA South East Region

Invicta Gun Club Sunday 29th June 2008

Glorious sunshine and another brilliant championship for the South East Region.

Seven out of nine teams made the day a long one but the atmosphere was extremly good and the contest was a hard fought one.

After a tie in the team event, Glen Presley (Buckinghamshire) and Tim Woodhams (Sussex) had a long shoot off, with Tim taking the honours.

The Champion, with the only straight of the day, was Tim Heywood (Surrey).

Ladies Champion, with an outstanding score of 18, was Dorothy Fleri from God's own County.

The Junior Champion was Sam Coffey (Surrey)

The Colt Champion, after a shoot of between Mark Boyle and Oliver Meekins, was Oliver.

The Veteran Champion, after a shoot of between Ron Smith and Michael Vere-Hodge, was Ron.

I think everyone had a good time, I certainly did and my thanks go to Invicta for putting on this Championship
