South East Region of the Clay Pigeon Shooting AssociationDiscipline: Double Trap Venue: NCSC Bisley Date: 20th July 2008 A good turnout for this popular event!!- the weather was dry but a bit chilly. Seven of the nine counties fielded a team and the champions were Sussex with Berkshire in second place Kent in third. The Champion, tuning himself up for the Olympics, was Steve Scott (Sussex) who won this for the third year running (no you can not keep the trophy), there was a tie in the ladies between Dorothy Fleri and Sarah Haynes. Sarah had gone home so the champion was Dorothy Fleri (Greater London), the junior champion was James Attwood (Kent), the colt champion was Ollie Betchley (Surrey) and the veteran champion was Alan Haynes (Hertfordshire) A special mention must go to Natalie Golding who shot 91 beating her father Steve Golding by 3 targets !!! Kept him quiet for a moment!!! A good day was had by all and many thanks go to the NCSC for holding this event.
