2008 South East Region Intercounties Olympic Trap Championship
NCSC Bisley Sunday 27th July 2008 Pleeeeese-was it ever hot or wot!!! Eight teams fought for the championship, which was an ordeal, in temperatures hotter than on the continent. After a very long day Kent (who were amazed atthe result) emerged the champions seven targets clear of second place Sussex with Surrey in third place. The individual championship, after a shoot off with Bradley Davis was Nigel Caves (Hertfordshire), the ladies champion was Tracy Speirs (Hertfordshire); the junior champion was Simon Clarke (Berkshire), the colt champion was Jack Tucker (Surrey) and the veteran champion was Phil Rowley (Buckinghamshire). The presentation was a quickone as everyone had lost the will to live and my thanks go to Barry and the team at the NCSC for an enjoyable day.
