2008 South East Region Intercounties Universal Trench Championship 
Nuthamstead Shooting Ground Sunday 17th August 2008 Great weather for this, the penultimate Intercounties Championship for 2008. Six full teams and three part teams, which was a bit of a surprise as this is usually well oversubscribed, attended the event What can one say about the champion, Dick Fletton (Kent but ex God's Own County) shot an amazing 99 ex 100 to take the title, once again Mary Rowley (Bucks) won the ladies, Stuart Ward (Sussex) won the juniors, Cameron Miln (Sussex) won the colts and of course Dick Fletton won the veterans. The team event was won by Sussex with Kent in second place and Greater London in third. As always at Nuthampstead there was a good atmosphere with excellent targets and good food. My thanks go to all the shooters who attended and to Nicky and Martin Barker for another brilliant day.
